ABOUT ME

Hi, I'm Amy, I'm 30 something and I'm from Windsor. It's a lovely place to be based and I live here with my husband, our 2 children Cara and Alfie and our black labrador, Ed.

I have a passion for and interest in writing that I've had for as long as I can remember. I was always top of English rather than Maths at school and I used to spend my weekends writing stories for fun. I followed this passion and volunteered in Romania working as a journalist and then went on to university to do a degree in a similar field.

My biggest buzz in life is a challenge - both professionally and personally. Defeat is not an option (I actually got this tattooed on me when I was 19!) and I am always up for trying something new. A risk taker, if you will!

Professionally, I use this to motivate myself in my personal development and have recently been part of the All Things IC Inner Circle programme, was chosen as one of 10 women for a specific Women in Leadership programme, as well as volunteering for the NHS.

Personally, I have a list of experiences I would like to give a go one day, which range from trying out surfing to whale watching. I recently rode a horse for the first time, and tried snowboarding - although I broke my arm doing this one!

I'm a very passionate person and I'm unapologetically authentic. I know who I am, what my values are, what skills I have and what I can offer to an employer.
