TELCO CLOUD CORE NETWORK
This was an internal campaign to get our people excited about the next stage in our business transformation. Having an end to end cloud core system was a world first for a Telco business and so it was a project that was a focus for driving customer experience forward and our people needed to understand the importance of that.

It was driven by the Technology & Operations team and so a big part of my job was making sure the right language was used in communications for the right audiences. In newsletters or update to the Tech teams, I could include more detail but for business wide communications, I had to ensure complicated jargon and language was simplified for everyone to understand.

Our people were part of our biggest ever staff trial which needed regular updates for senior leaders, participants and the wider business. As it was a world first, the launch took significantly longer than planned and so I acted with integrity to make sure communications continued to reflect our honest progress. This was really appreciated - people understood with a world first there would be unforeseen challenges but also still kept belief that we would achieve our goals, and not give up.

Once the staff trial was complete, I was able to engage our office, Retail and Contact Centre teams in this exciting launch using a mix of channels to ensure a completely integrated campaign. This included articles on the Intranet, TV screens, posters, videos and personalised thank you's from leaders, lockscreens, internal Facebook groups and face to face celebratory events.
